a must for anybody who's around noise

Protection level is 29 out of 30, so don't buy a cheaper pair with lower protection. Looks good and feels good, so will wear anytime I'm in range of disruptive noise. Factory package is great, protective plastic is easy-open, but amazon shipped to me in an oversized box with unneeded packing. Wasteful.

Excellent hearing protection

I purchased these Dewalt earmuffs a couple months ago and have been using them both for work (carpentry) and in the recording studio (during loud playbacks when I'm not doing critical listening, but have to be available). They're very comfortable, even for extended periods of time. And they block out more sound than any earmuff I've used in the past. I recommend them highly.

Comfortable and good noise reduction

We bought 3 of these for shooting rifle and shotgun. We tried these on at a sporting goods store and liked how they felt and seemed to cut down on the noise. We didn't buy them at that time, but came home and found them on Amazon much cheaper.

As I said, we bought them for shooting and like them very much. They are comfortable to wear for extended periods and really do the job in reducing the sound to a safe level.

I would buy these again.
